Located close to Nijo Castle, Kiraku Kyoto Aneyakoji is a 90 years old "Kyomachiya" ( traditional Kyoto-style townhouse), beautifully renovated with a "Washi" (traditional Japanese paper) theme into a luxurious private villa.

As you step through Kiraku Aneyakoji's sliding doors, you will be welcomed by the distinct, spacious entrance way of a traditional Kyomachiya home, carefully decorated with Washi illumination.

Walking to the rear of the Home, you will discover an open-air bath overlooking a private, Japanese garden.

Venture up the stairs and indulge in a Japanese tea ceremony atop a transparent floor, a distinct experience found only at Kiraku Aneyakoji.
