Kiraku Kyoto Honmachi is located in a corner of Higashiyama Shichijo, a lush green area that still retains its ancient history and traditions.
It is within walking distance of Sanjusangendo Temple and Kyoto National Museum, making it a convenient location for sightseeing in Kyoto.
It was created with the concept of being an inn that would make you want to visit Wazuka Town, the main production area of Uji tea.
The master bedroom on the first floor is designed to resemble a dry landscape garden, while the living room on the second floor is modelled after a tea house and features a unique design that allows guests to view the dry landscape garden below through a glass floor while sipping Uji tea from Wazuka Town.
There is an open-air bath in the outdoor courtyard where you can relax and soak in the water.
