季楽 京都 東山
A private inn where you can enjoy the lounge overlooking the Japanese garden and the Shigaraki pottery bath.
"Kyoraku Kyoto Higashiyama" is an inn that is only available for one person a day and is tucked away in a back alley near the Shirakawa River that flows through Higashiyama in Kyoto.
Located just a 3-minute walk from Higashiyama Station, we are also within walking distance of Kyoto's most famous scenic spots such as Heian Jingu Shrine, Shoren-in Monzeki Temple, and Chion-in Temple. Just a short walk away is Gion, the gorgeous flower district of the ancient capital.
Facing the former Namikawa Yasuyuki residence (a national cultural property) built in the Meiji period, the lounge overlooking the beautiful Japanese garden created by the seventh generation Jihei Ogawa, the red and white plum painting Japanese paper art that decorates the bedroom, and the Shigaraki pottery half-open-air bath with a garden are exceptional in Kyoto.
You can feel the tranquility of time and enjoy a luxurious time while enjoying a drink at the bar counter while looking at the beautiful Japanese garden.
